Steps 6 through 7
Step 6

The first thing that needs to be installed is the safety.

First insert the bearing spring, colored green, into the hole on the bottom of the safety slide. Don’t insert the bearing.

Place the bearing, colored purple, on top of small circular open hole on the bottom of the receiver that is slightly smaller then the bearing itself (not the cut out colored red).
Take the safety slide with the spring installed and carefully place it on top of the bearing so that the bearing fits into the same hole that spring is in. The rear portion of the safety slide should fit into the slide channel, marked in red in the previous photo.

Hold the safety slide, colored purple, against the bottom of the receiver so it does not fall out. While doing this slide the safety selector switch, colored green, over the protruding piece of the safety slide. Once installed, insert the small roll pin, colored purple, to secure the two pieces together. Be sure to support the safety slide from behind before you hammer or press in the roll pin.

When the small roll pin is completely installed it is safe to take your hand off the safety slide.

Try not to jar it around until the entire FCG is installed

Step 7

Now we are going to install the trigger. You will need a screwdriver to complete this step.

First combine the trigger spring, colored green, and trigger frame together so they look like the assembly in the photo.

Now drop the trigger frame and trigger spring down into the receiver so the trigger falls through the cutout on the bottom of the receiver.
Take the FCG retention pin, colored purple, and place it as pictured against the wall of the receiver. Now insert the trigger axis pin, colored green, into the trigger axis pin hole. Notice how the trigger axis pin is narrow on one end, this is the end that must be inserted first.

Push the trigger axis pin, colored green, through the trigger frame axis pin hole all the way through until it fits into the other end of the receiver. You may have to use the screwdriver to keep the FCG retention pin from catching on the recesses of the axis pin by pushing it down. If you are having trouble lining up the trigger frame axis holes, insert your screwdriver into the pocket on top of the trigger frame and manipulate it to line up the holes as shown in the photo.
